We were at the shelter doing photos, and intercepted a lady dropping off her lab puppy.
He's about 3 months old, sweetest little guy ever.
And thank goodness he never had to go into the shelter. He went from her car, to my arms. Good timing, eh?

We've had him for a few days, and he just went to a different foster home tonight. Remember Amara? Her family is fostering Chumly.

Just to use a credit card It isn't about buying 1 item at $100,000 and then paying that off in one go. Just using it constantly, and paying it off constantly. They look at the turn around rate. Same thing in the UK or anywhere for that matter. I knew that.

Was just such a pain in the arse to get the credit card in the first place. As for "how long" before I qualify....well, how long is a piece of string?

If my wife and I try to go for a pre-mortgage qualification say, tomorrow, and they say "yes", chances are, because my credit isn't really solid, we would get hammered with a high interest rate - that would be a killer, as they will go up from what they are now (due to crappy economy, and guaranteed rise in inflation, so they will need to raise interest rates to keep that in check). So, we would still have to wait a long time, just so that I can build up enough to lower the potential interest rates.

But they, the banks, are constantly tightening who they give money to now, so it is a double hammer blow. In time, it'll get better, but it SUCKS starting from absolutely nothing.

Easy enough to straighten the horizon...just use the string tool in PS or Lightroom.

That really does suck, Harm. What about finding a place where the owner will carry the contract. Not really sure how that works, but a lot of people I know have bought that way.
