In that light, I think you should stay calm, take a deep breath, and replace your avatar with a picture of the goatse.cx guy.

I think a pic of Ron Jeremies would be better suited, LOL.

Honestly, though - she didn't steal your avatar. Rather, she gave you control over her's.

My thoughts exactly. And I have a warm spot in my heart for people who appreciate wolves.

Well, I am a big fan of Ron Jeremy as well, but he's like a puppy in comparison.... :P
For the people that haven't been surfing the net for longer than say... two days, here is a link to describe the phenomenon:

If that's the case & this is someone who puts Captain Ron to shame, then I'm scared to click the link, I don't think my laptop has a wide enough monitor, LOL.

You just need to emply some hotlink prevention (external link), if your server allows it. A simple .htaccess text file will do the trick.

Yep, my server allows it, since it's actually in my office. I just never worried about it since I've never had an instance of it before. I guess I have to add it.

I'm thinking that YOUR avatar would be perfect...

But she might like that because it's awesome. Do you happen to have a close-up of his hand?

Keep the name of your avatar, so she won't notice it's contents has changed (put THIEF on it or something) and then change your wolf-avatar's name to something else (and hide it!)

Actually, if you think about it, the look of that... thing... could have been because of Mr Jeremy, so you get your wish as well.... ok, I'm just going to shut up now instead. Sorry. :D
