So I have decided on which telephoto lens I am getting, but I need to sell one of my lens' for cash and to free up some room. I am trying to consolidate them as much as possible. So the question is which one will go. I just got my 24-70 and regretably haven't used it much. I seem to be using my 135the most for candid head shots of my son. I don't want to get rid of my 17-40 since I don't have any overlap in wide angle for lanscaping, so it comes down to the 35l or the 24-70.

Which one would you sell to fund a longer telephoto? I am almost positive I am going to get a sig 120-300.

I know that this is more of a personal prefrence, but thought I would pick a couple of brains for some good advice?

If you sell your 35L let me know. ;) (though, I am selling my 24-70 for the 35L, just to be perfectly honest). :)

I was thinking about the same thing, I love the 35L. As of late I haven't even used the 24-70. I am thinking I can foot zoom for this lens, or is that a bad assumption?
