I had one. Every 10,000 miles the turbo needed work & the mechanic was off to school to learn how to fix the particular problem it had.
And if you do, look for a $20 ('60s dollars) "Camber compensator" to fix the handling problem that Nader made so much of.

Life is full of choices, choose wisely. That would be a nice Corvair to restore. I just don't like their fan belt layout.
