The Canon PSC-5100 semi-hard leather case was apparently designed for the G10. However, I notice that B&H lists this case as an accessory for the G11.

Two questions:

(1) Will this case fit the G11? The dimensions of the G11 & the dimensions of the inside of the case are very, very close.

(2) Any personal thoughts on this case from owners?

Thank you kindly.

Think I answered my own question. Several reviews on Amazon mentioned that the case fits the G11 just fine. Sorry for the intrusion.

It's ok! If you're still looking...
Leather case I bought for my G9 (with a battery as a very expensive package)==case fits fine. Battery doesn't. On a G11 I mean.

edit: This was the Canon + battery package for the G9. Leather case is classy!
Kept the battery when I traded the camera for my first G11...

Actually I have been looking for exactly the same thing and I can't figure out why Canon didn't make a case for the G11, or if they did why it is so difficult to find. I can't remember it being so difficult with the G9. Some of the reviews on Amazon say that the case for the G10 doesn't fit properly which sort of turned me off getting one. Why the heck don't they just include the case with the camera and charge a little bit more. It would save a ton of people a ton of headache!
