In home I was setting up my 24" cheetah softbox. As I was distracted doing other things the softbox took off on me :)

My 3.5 yr old got to it.....later my 14mth joined in.

That certainly caught me off guard and I just had to share.

Hey Helene,

To be honest I haven't had enough time to comment on the quality of light.

As far as build I'd say its well built. The "ring" where it sits on the softbox kinda wobbles but its acceptable. I'm just use to using the photoflex q39 box where the rods sits in the universal speedlite speedring. That system doesn't move as much.

The inner diffuser panel's snaps (4 snaps on 4 elastic straps on each corner) Holy cra! are they difficult in removing.

As TMR (Robert) has mentioned the inner silver lining increase efficiency of the speedlite. You can only use 1 speedlite and there no room for another.

For the price I'd say its nice for the money. 24" SB is a great size for many applications for a quick strobist setup.

My little elle beat the heck out of it an its in perfect condition still so as for the QC testing my 3.5yr old proves its well built. The cheetah seems to be a cheap alternative/clone to the lastolite EzyBox.

Hope thats some decent tidbits of info :)

That's pretty funny. Reminds me of kids during Christmas who opens their presents and ignores their presents and play with the box it came in :)
