So,

My GF's laptop has been blue screening like mad, I thought hey no problem. Used the Dell Data back up thing to create a system restore disc, got her to buy some good DVD's. Two DVD's later ready to go, everything is backed up externally, and I boot in to the disc.

I get the option to restore to factory, so I thought this would be the best way to start a fresh, it said it would have to format the hard drive etc fine, then once this was complete it said insert disc 2. Upon doing this nothing happens!

I am not sure what I can do next really? I had to turn it off and then on, and tried to restore image?? But apparently I have no image.....ugh I am out of practice with windows! Her laptop is a Dell Studio if this makes any odds?

I would be very greatful if someone could come rescue me out of this creek!

Matt
