Well I am finally home and have had time to look through the thousands of shots I took.

Here is a link to about 230 of them.

Here are a few teasers.

Wow. That final pic gave me a woody. How'd you manage to get around for this?

I parked on Las Vegas Blvd, right next to the speedway for all the shots posted in the link. I took some others from a location just south of there, but it is a little rough there so I only shot there for a few hours. I shot over two days, maybe a total of 5 hours.

It was showing 120 degrees so I could only handle short periods of time shooting. Long glass is needed.

Nice shots! I got a few similar ones a couple of years ago when I tried, though they were laning from that direction that day. You got a much better variety than I did, I just had the F-16's and F-15's. It was hot as sin out there - felt like someone was blowing a hair dryer on me.......

The coolest it got was 89 degrees and that was at 2 in the morning. Everyday was 114 or higher. Thanks again for the tips on where to shoot. I am booked in for Operation Maple Flag in Cold Lake this summer. My kids are taking their surival instructors course up there with air cadets. I plan on being there for a part of it as the training area is not far from the end of the runway.

Good stuff.

Used to work those exact 15's.

However, I have no desire to go back to Cold Lake for maple flag, lol. I could only stand the chow hall for so long. Although seeing the northern lights up there was pretty awesome.

I see you shoot IPSC also. DVC!

I lived up there when I was younger as well as many other interesting places that the Canadian Forces loves to make bases. As for the IPSC, it's the most fun you can have with your clothes on, even with our stupid gun laws here in Canada. I shoot Open Division here and Limited 10 in USPSA.

These are all really good but I'm partial to the next to last one. I'd like to shoot some there as well but I'm gonna wait until January! :D

It was cool having the fighters fly over in formation and then break off right above us.

Take lots of memory cards, the fill up way too quick there.
