Does anyone use a model release when shooting cars?

Such as the car owner signs the release for the car to be shown on the internet or in print.

Or do you just use a contract to write up photographer protection from being liable for anything.

Does anyone have any samples of vehicle model release forms they use?

I'm not quite sure how it should differ from my normal model release except for taking out the sections about model posing and understanding that all images were shot with the explicit agreement from the model.

Car's don't really care if they're naked LOL

Try searching the term "Property Release" instead of "Model."

If I'm paid to shoot a car, then I get a signed release. There's an old one below.
If I were shooting for an agency, they will have their own release.
Just shooting in a parking lot, I don't bother, but I tell the owner it will be on the inet. I've only had one person object in several years.

Interesting "Property Release" Case

Property is not copyrighted but owned.
A savvy photographer always get written authority
to photograph personal property - this includes a mode'ls personal property ... lol.
If you smart enuff to include model release and right to photograph in
the written signed contract you are far ahead of the 21st century amature.
