Hello!

I need large backpack, for two bodies, 300mm f/4L IS, 4-5 smaller lenses, two teleconverters, 2-3 flashes, and small accessories, but......

I also want to be able to attach Manfrotto 055xprob with ballhead to the backpack. Tripod shoud idelly be in center line of bag, so it does not unbalance weight to the side. Also, it should not move freely too much when I hike. I don't like much Lowepro PhotoTrekker's way of attaching tripod, it is not very sturdy, thought, it is in center line.

Also what I don't like with PhotoTrekker is not having enough spare compartments for another things that are essential during whole day hikings like launch, water, maybe some spare cloath etc.

So, what I'm trying to find is something like...

- enough room for above photo gear
- enough additional compartments for food and water at least
- good and stable way of attaching tripod

I'm big man, so it's not problem if bag is also big, but it should be able to satisfy above requirements.

Any suggestion, please?

Thanks!

Think Tank Streetwalker Hard Drive is a nice bag and should work for you.

Clik Elite's cloudscape or hiker would be good.
both were made for hiking photographers so they should have all the necessary requirements for hiking.
the cloudscape also has two carrying options for the tripod. one on the side or in the middle part of the bag.

well hello

Take a look at the F-stop Tilopa and most likely Satori for your needs. I have the Tilopa and it's a big bag, the Satori is even bigger. I think they have 3 different size ICU's which is the removable section that holds the camera gear. And they're light and comfortable.
