there is, but it's not in production, it was a promotional item Canon gave away at the Vancouver Olympic games. they only made 50-100 of em; and if you find one for sale you're gonna pay out the nose for it.

They're readily available all over ebay, and as for the price... well, I guess I just have a big nose. ;)

well, wife checked the mail today (had probably been a 2 weeks since we last checked it) and the mug came in. overall.. its pretty good looking, the rubber rings weren't seated well when i took it out, but they slipped into place pretty snug. at first glance you wouldn't notice it wasn't a real lens, until you picked it up. if you look at it closely its quite obvious its not real; there is an obvious seam from the plastic mold right down the middle behind the IS switch, neither AF or IS switch seems to move, but they appear as if they should, i don't want to force them and break one off so i won't try.

from the top of the lens, the cap appears very genuine, only removing it exposes a lip that is obviously not "OEM" the printed lettering is all very good, the red ring however is not very well lined up and smudged close to one of the seams. all in all, i like it; I'm gonna carry it around in my camera bag, and throw it to people after i ask them if they want to borrow a lens.

its more aimed as being a "cup" it probably holds.. 12-14oz

and its solid, there is no air chamber.

naw, its only the F4. if it were a 2.8IS i would say go for it.

The f4 is perfect thermos size, in fact people commonly mistake it for a thermos when its not on my camera and is without it's hood. I would actually use it as one.

If I wanted something crazy It would be the 200 f2 as a giant mug :p
