The CR2 file type isn't recognized by Microsoft's software as an image type, so it ignores the files. Jon

I just found out that it was a setting mistake on my part. I set it on L+RAW via the main menu, but I had to do it via the func set button. doh ![]() Dont wear it out before you give it as a present. The results are pretty good as well ![]() But of course there has to be something that doesnt work instantly... How do you get RAWs off the camera? Card reader and Windows Explorer?

If you didn't, most operating systems won't recognize RAW file formats which are proprietary rather than standard image file formats like JPEG. If you don't want to use Canon's software and you don't have a third-party application that supports the S90, you will need to go the card reader route (which is faster anynhow). Jon
