A few previews from my first day at Oshkosh. These are all SOOC, shot in MRaw+Sjpeg because the laptop I brought with me doesn't have the DPP installed on it to edit & convert.
Statics were with a Tokina 12-24 f/4. Aerials were with Canon 300 f/4L
UAV

Great series! Your shots make me soooo wish I had off all week so I could get there every day! I was sent to Appleton today for work, if I'd have had my camera along, there's no way I would have been able to fight the urge to blow off the rest of the day and head to Oshkosh;-)a

Thank you, guys.

John - I do not know of the plans for the airplanes.

Most unfortunate incident today... A plane went down, but from what I've heard so far it sounds like everyone survived.

Thank you. I wish we could have had clouds like the ones in photo 2 all day! They add some interest without wreaking havoc on the background like a plain grey sky does.

Just heard on the news the pilot was Jack Roush (owner of 5 nascar teams). He's in critical condition. He had a passenger who has non-life threatening injuries.

Global Hawk will not fly as it is not real - its just a mock-up used for airshows. It was delived to KOSH via C-5 I believe. Great shots so far - keep them coming!
