true story... what's with the n00bs thinking that it's cool to flip off the camera... which translates into us?

I don't know... I'm less offended than I am bored from the cliche of it. Let's see: Flipping off the camera; writing something on your hand and holding it up; a nude girl covering her breasts with her hands... Sigh.

SO cliche...

It's as cliche as the old Hollywood standby of walking away in slow motion while an explosion goes off behind you. Been there, done that.

7.27.10,

Worked 12. Got home, laughed at how happy the dogs are today and went outside and shot this. First time using a texture. Didn't want it too strong, you can see mostly around the edges of the shot the texture. I saw some Ansel Adams stuff on Yahoo today and it inspired me to shoot more B/W photos, so here's one. :) Not that I could ever be that good...

If you didn't hear about the Ansel Adams findings check it out here.

WTF?! How in the hell do you get to do THAT?! I'm jealous.

Haha, I review / write regularly for a local photography community / business, and since we publish "photographic news" we're sorta like a media agency. Red Dot Photo's the company, and so yeah we get to try stuff before other people do locally... Which just happens to be me ^^

Well, since we need to kick this into the next iteration, here's a quick one of me -- not at all "artsy", though...

Just having some fun doing a photobooth-style shoot. 1 shoot through umbrella camera right and 1 rim light behind me.

You would not believe how often I hear that -- it's gotten so that I have to make up jokes just to satisfy a few friends:)!
