Playing with EOSUtility remote capture... So I figured I would post my ugly mug here... :)

Ouch! What a mug to see first thing in the morning...hehehe {running and ducking}

Seriously though, you nailed the focus which is not easy when doing selfies.

Don't take this the wrong way, but if you are using it on a photography website, you might want to get it in focus.

Agreed, and you shot at f/1.8 which is pretty tough to get all of you in focus on a self timer, I would bump up the aperture for this shot IMHO.

Still soft, keny. Are you using manual focus? That could be the problem.

Yes it is on manual when i use AF it seems to focus on the far back and gets me bury that's why i try to play with manual focus and going hit or miss.. although it's an improvement from the first one.. >< I'll keep trying until i get it sharp!

Focus on the cement wall. Then try. Or set something where you'll be sitting and focus on that first, then switch to manual focus.

Pitch the camera down, then with AF on point it at the edge of the step (?) that you are sitting on. Turn to Manual Focus, recompose the shot and take another picture. I think you'll find the outcome to be reasonably accurate.

Edit: Dammit Matt.

I was seeing the same thing you 2 were. The wall behind him is in focus. Focus on the corner of the wall you are sitting on.
