This is me, taken by my friend. I guess it's considered a self-portrait? :)

happy world photography day.

Ya know; you'd think that someone with all that gear could at least afford more than one pair of shoes..... {running and ducking}

Cute dog by the way ;)

Take one Camera, a couple of flashguns, Tux, and a cheap prop from eBay throw them all together for a new self-portrait. Probably not suitable for passport or driving license.

Not a self-portrait at all... Just a portrait of you.

I like it. Would you mind sharing your lighting set up? I'm trying to learn about that

I haven't figured out my YN-468 yet because I'm impatient. So I just used natural light. I'm in Texas where it is plentiful and the back of our house gets AMAZING light, it's one reason why we chose it. I've learned quite a bit from America's Next Top Model, believe it or not. If you filter out the drama you can learn so much from both the the models' and photographers' points of view. "Find your light!" I really, really need to learn OCF but am very intimidated.

How did you manage to trade him a 50/1.8 for a 50/1.4?

It's more a favor for me because I really want the 1.2L and he wants to convince me to save my $ and get the 1.4. Also, he travels frequently and wants to lighten his load so is curious as to whether the 1.8 will suffice as a travel lens.

Thanks to the other compliments, I only wish I had the creativity of those who share in this thread. I'm more of a classic gal.

I love the ACU sleeve. Do they make those or is it of your own creation?
