I am planning to do a self portrait so I can put it up on my portfolio site and for the life me I can't think of how to 'pose' myself. OK, so I figured I should be holding a camera but how should I pose with it?

@Rhommel, I think the most important thing to remember about taking a self portrait is that it's a portrayal of YOU. Do what ever it is that YOU want to do ;-)a

that's what I am thinking, can't really put that kind of photos if I wanna market myself as a professional wedding photographer. or can i? :D

Actually, photos used to market yourself will depend on your target market. If you are aiming at the rich and famous and formal weddings, you need a tux or at least a sport coat. If the young and restless and informal weddings in the garden are your target clients then something more casual and if you are specializing in beach weddings, then the speedo just might work :)
