Showing my 'Astro' rig. :-) It consists of the Sony ILCE-7RM4 camera, Sony FE 200-600mm lens, Sony 2x telextender, and my Husky Quick-Set IV Elevator tripod. :-)

Thanks. That's the USS Oriskany, the ship I was stationed on from March 1966 to June of 1967. I modified the Revell model as much as my skills allowed to make it as authentic to the time I was aboard as possible. Even the aircraft have the correct squadron markings.

Thanks. I used to belong to the Model Warships Forum when I built my ship. I built her in 2008 and the last time I had done any model work before that, I was a teenager. I'm proud of how this one turned out but I don't see me bulding models anymore. My eyesight is just too poor now.

Documenting my weight loss on a dreary January day, I'm now down to 169 lbs. So far, I've lost 36 lbs and I'm just about where I want to be.

Looks like I need to trim up the beard soon though.

That's great! I ballooned up to 203 from 170 after I got laid off. I'd never weighed more than 193. I'm down to 181 after 9 weeks. 66 years old.

Great job with the weight loss. I know it can go on so easy but taking it back off...not so much.

I just need to figure out what to do with all this extra skin now. I'll be 76 in March.
