Well PCB customer service confirmed that they still have my order from June, it is still in a queue, and they have do not have a shipping estimate because they are using a new vendor. :(

In the meantime, I'm going to build my own or try something like this:

paul c buff just put up a twitter saying they are expecting the first shipment of the 51" and 64" WHITE PLM's in the next few days.

I think there gunna start rolling in now anytime.

Funny that he hasn't said that on his own tech blog where there's an active thread about the PLM V2's arrival and a direct, outstanding question to him asking for an updated ETA.

The delays are bad enough but that PCB and his customer service reps can't come up with the same story on any given day is what's truly bush league. I think they should all get new Magic 8-Balls for Christmas.

PCB's ETA reminds me of Top Rank Promotions and Golden Boy/Mayweather Promotions trying to make the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight happen. It's always "close to happening".

I couldn't agree more. I've been over PCB and his products for a while now...but this utter disrespect/dishonesty towards customers and fellow photographers downright sickens me. For a guy who claims to be up-front and honest, all I see is smoke and curtains. absolute horses#*t.

Clearly, this is a subject to be avoided here. However, to answer your question, Paul, the OP probably was alluding to the types of comments cited below. Inflammatory and right wing, yes; racist, no:

interesting.... I dont really find anything racist in there. Its what I would call very strong political views and he's acting on them. I almost dont think there is anything wrong with that. We all have our political opinions and we support whatever we want to. He is doing the same in my eyes albeit in a very strong manner.

I cant quite see the racial part anywhere. He is citing factual information to support his cause. Then again those few posts may not be the whole story for all I know.

Nothing wrong with it apart from the fact its retarded for any business to mix personal political views with their business.

Speaking of aliens..

For the most part, I'd have to agree with you. PCB's views are certainly ultra-conservative but not overtly racist. Depending upon how you look at things, he's either a fool for mixing his business with his political views, or to be admired for acting on the strength of his convictions (however abhorrent those convictions may be to most). I take issue with much of what he's written but this is not the forum for that discussion.

That obvious Alien Bees/illegal aliens contradiction has been pointed out on more than one occasion over on FM, Paul.

Just to clarify: It is only those people who have entered this country illegally that are referred to as illegal aliens (for obvious and proper reasons).
