I'm sure it's nothing to THE MAN OF STEEL. It's so hot around this town of Houston I believe it would melt steel. Good luck.

Sounds like where I work... Our AC has been going out at 9:30 at night, and coming back on somewhere around 10:00-10:30am, since last week! Our building people are stumped, meanwhile we sweat. I'm not so concerned about the rest of the office, just the computer room. We measured 95 degrees F yesterday on one side of the room, 94F on the other, and 105F behind the main system. Yikes! -- John

I used to be willing to give the benifit of the doubt regarding the idea that the end of WWII is a perfectly good day to celebrate... However.. looking at the actual dates.. The signing on the mighty Mo was not untill September.. and Japan did not cry "uncle" untill much later in August.. So here we are with the day off on the 8th? Celebrating what we allways called "VJ Day" untill recently.. and the closest date in the Pacific WWII history is of course.. well.. the dropping of the bomb ![]() ie: changing the name is not enough.. the date needs to be changed as well so it is the End of WWII we celebrate.. Anyway.. we RI residents thought we were the only ones still doing this.. is there someone else? VE Day and VJ Day were observed as the days the fighting stopped - probably, in the modern trend, shifted to the second Monday to give everyone the long weekend to get out and shoot (pictures). Also Sept. 2 would be just too close to Labor Day. Jon

Its also kept this cool for all the equipment in the rooms. Xray,CT and MRI machines hate the heat. I sometimes have to go outside to warm up its crazy. Alas, as my Father used to say, be tough it will build character lol, hope it works out for you CDS, good luck...............Joe "Joseph get your a** in here, right now!" - MY Mom
