Again, harsh and directional lighting. I tried to make the best of it.

I love how you got the dashboard through the back window!

Sweet- totally sweet. Great shots. If I had been there they would have had to wipe the drool off the car!

Thanks, Mel. I like it too, even though I didn't realize what I was getting in the shot.

That's me at these events, when I'm viewing the Talbot Lago and Delahaye marques.
I had my dribble-cup firmly in place, to be sure. ;)

Glad you like it. I enjoy passing it on.

For those wanting to know, there's an amazing difference between the 1938 Talbot Lago
pictured here, and the 1938 Talbot Lago displayed last year. Both are the same model
designation, and both are bodied by the Figoni & Falaschi coachbuilders. Both are literally
from the same sources, yet they exhibit some striking differences. See how they compare
by clicking the link.

I think there may have been a ribbon or two hanging from the window, but don't remember for certain. It's currently in the foyer at the Nethercutt Museum.

Jeff

A little digging around on the Nethercutt website reveals that you have a sharp eye and a good memory  It was there in 2007 and 2008!
