I was concerned about color and contrast, given some of my previous experiences with off-brand lenses, but those are proving unfounded, for the most part. A few samples from the past three days of storm chasing: For the type of work I do (95% this stuff), this focal length isn't just a "specialty" lens that will come out of the bag once in a blue moon. Thankfully, it appears the Samyang is up to the task of being a workhorse, and has made me feel much better about my recent decision to switch from crop to FF. Nikon D610, D5100
