B&H has this lens with AE Chip for $500 on back ordered, is the AE chip worth an extra $200 over the fully manual lens without the AE chip? :eek::eek:

No. You barely need to focus this lens, and I shoot it in manual anyway. Save your money. Get the non-chip version. You can Google for a profile for this lens for Lightroom/PS - it is available. No reason to pay a $200 premium for the chip.
