so I`ve been reading all kinds of reviews on the lenses I have been thinking about...the Tamron 18-270...which was about $200.oo cheaper today than it was on Monday... the 24-105 L...a 50mm...a 24 F2.8...and this afternoon I decided to go for the Canon 50mm F 1.2 L USM. Not cheap but you know, I`ve learned the hard way about trying to save money by going for lesser gear which I usually regret afterwards...so I bit the bullet and went for the big boy right off the bat. I have it on my 40D and will use it for a while to see if I`m pleased with the results. It rained today so no real chance to test it out but I will.
They had the 7D for about $250.00 less today than at the start of the week and with the points I have...$250,00 worth...I could get it for about $1000.00 which is a great price for Japan. So if I like what I see with the 40D I may use my points on another lens...maybe the 24-105 F4 L which will cost me about $750.00 if I use my points...tempting.
