I wanted to put up some pictures from a wedding I was at recently. I wasn't the photographer, my wife was actually the wedding planner and I was there to help her out and get some practice so hopefully I could shoot professionally some day.

There were 2 photographers and 2 videographers shooting so I mainly tried to not get in their way and shot everything from a distance with my 70-200 2.8

Please let me know what you think, I need the constructive criticism.

I think these are all great. Nice colors, comps and DOF.

My on nit is with #2. I'm pretty sure this is really a touching shot where he is wiping away a tear, but because of the angle it kind of looks like he's picking his nose.

Haha, I never even noticed that. Thanks for the heads up and the comments!

You have a very similar style to me in terms of post processing, framing, coverage, and love of using that f/2.8 to good use.

WB is perfect. Contrast is perfect. Sharpness is superb. I've only good things to say!

The one thing you'll need experience is shooting up close and personal with a 24-70 and knowing how to direct and pose the subjects. That will come with experience. But with your connections (read wife), I don't foresee any problems!

I think these are great, though I see the same thing in #2.. However I find all of them to be a bit cool as far as WB goes.

I am super cool n' stuff.

They are nice photos, but a few of them need a magenta shift in the WB department.

These are lovely. Jealous of your clarity and WB control.

Actually, they're quite awesome - wouldn't surprise me if these are better than the official photographer's... ;)

Got more?
