Hi folks. I am bidding on a Canon BG-E2 battery grip that I want to use on my 40D. I notice that this grip has been replaced with a Canon BG-E2N. So I m wondering if any of you 40Der's have used the BG-E2 and if it works.

I am also conisidering a Zeikos from B&G, but I prefer to go with the Canon.

Thanks. 20 minutes left in the auction...

Jim

Thanks for getting back to me. I lost the bid, probably by about 2 seconds. Oh well. There are others and I'm not in a rush to spend money. Anyway, now that I am sure it will work, I have bid on another one that I will not lose by a matter of seconds or cents...

Thanks again!
Jim

I just sold a like new one in the box on here last night for $65 shipped to Alaska .

I got it with a near mint 30D that was a one owner but I didn't have any use for the grip , I don't use them .

You'll find a good one out there , keep looking .

Wish I knew...

Like I said, though, I'm not in a rush to spend the $$$, but I'm glad to confirm that it will work.

Thanks!

As far as I can tell from pictures the Zeikos and Canon BG-E2N are the exact same grip. Probably made in the same factory.
