Here is my first attempt at taking my xsi off auto mode. Inspired by the baby bunnies in my herb barrel. Any suggestions...is there somewhere you can get a generic list of settings as a jumping off point. ie sunlight and kids start here, sports and cloudy start here. I am really new...I have taken 1 class and am taking another in the fall, so we will see. But I am loving the experience.

Nice start. It takes practice.

Nice start...very cute picture! I would recommend getting the book Understanding Exposure, if you're just starting out. The author does an excellent job of explaining the technical "stuff" in a simple, and easy to understand way. Good Luck, and just keep clicking! You'll get the hang of it.

Nice shot. Not sure I would use that mode for this kind of shot. I suspect the bunny was not moving. I would have thought what aperature to use, then set it.
