As others have already stated, you need to use the camera. A lot. Only by using the camera will you realize what you need to acquire to improve your craft.

Looking at an external flash and have seen alot of suggestions here on POTN...how about this one...YongNuo YN-468 II E-TTL Speedlite With LCD Display! What do you think. I can get it for around $100...which I will need to save for!
