So this is my best friend Emily. I went shooting with her yesterday and while looking at the pictures..I can figure out which of these two I like better. There are things I like about each and things I dislike about each.

What do you think? Also tell me why. both shots are completely untouched by the way.

The first is badly out of focus, so there is only one choice left, the slightly soft one.

Nevermind, the OP changed the order. Now they are reversed.

for some reason i am having more problems resizing this then i should.

i just now noticed the focus on the first one. well i guess that clears things up. i guess i wasn't paying attention to it the first time i looked at it.

still a bit small to see, what is the pink thing? Lens flare?

From what we we have i'd say the 2nd one. Hairs looks better, nicer smile, more leg and more on the right side of the frame leading us on.

But its a bit hard to give much more because of the size.

They really could benefit with some fill flash.

I just got my first pair of glasses that I didn't think I needed. I apologize to anybody in the past year that I said their pictures were out of focus lol.

I like the first one :) The flower is a little distracting, I would clone it out and brighten the image up a little in ps.

Definitely #2 -- she looks much more relaxed. She has a nice smile and shows well in #2, also she shows "personality" in 2. She looks a little stiff in #1, almost like she is being forced to pose.

I like the composition (#1 especially), color is good, and she's quite pretty with a great smile. Color looks good but they need more light, especially on her. And of course she should be very sharp.

Titus hit the nail on the head. Image has a nice feel to it . Maybe a reshoot if possible.
