But they never prepared me for seeing my photos up in lights over Times Square. They aren't all mine but the lion's share are.

Thank you, Furthur.

congrats!

Thank you. It was a thrill to see them without knowing they were going to be there.

Indeed it was. I'm glad I didn't have to make prints that big! ;)

I wish I had known you were around. I was fluttering around mid-town for two days with meetings, the shows and meeting up with people.

AWESOME! :) How is it they managed to put these up without your prior knowledge?
Either way, CONGRATS! ;)

They are all photos that have been used on their web site previously and they had permission for a use like that since day one from me. They hadn't used it before and since one of my first actions is to always take a few shots of the marquee before the show, they knew I would see them and get a charge out of it. I did mention to management that I should have negotiated a per view licence at something like $0.0003 per view if I had know. 6 million views per day for 2 days....it would have been a nice backend.

You could have certainly bought a nice lens or two with it. ;)

Hey Ski, you mean one of those isn't mine? just kidding... LOL... Great seeing your stuff on the streets of mid town Manhattan... Maybe at least one of them is from the shows you shot here at Penn's Peak? This is great... Thanks for doing what you do... No one knows how hard you work to get these pics, till they see you in person at one of these distant shows...

(1st photo; with Phil Lesh in the white shirt in the middle, looks familiar, as one of yours from PP). Cheers!!!
