Took a Trip to Ft. De Soto on Friday. Here are a few images from the day.

They are rare in Florida so I was Surprised to see it there.
It's a big bird over 20 inches in height.

Excellent shootin' Bill. Great to see the action is still good down there. I'd love to add a nice series of a LB Curlew to my collection.

Ft. DeSoto is a very cool place to shoot, I had a blast with the boys this spring. If all goes well next spring I'll probably revisit DeSoto, hopefully we can meet up.

They have a lot of the nesting areas blocked but there were still lots of birds that were accessible.
The LB Curlew was a pleasant surprise. I would love to shoot together again.
