Couple of Kingbirds

Went out early this morning for a few and seen these... Not much else around..

Nice captures Norman, that first one looks like a young bird. I can see the rubber lip, as Mitch calls it. Well done!

That's what I was going to say, rubberlips in number 1. Dead giveaway. Looks like he wants something to eat too.

Thanks Steve, yes it is a youngster.. Both were on the same branch and the younger one was with it's parent... He kept following it all over..

Thanks much Val, seems like they were the only birds to come out in the open... A few pine warblers were there but couldn't get close enough for a shot, quite typical of birds around here..
