Aug 01, 2010 04:21 | #3 actually only one raw image that i converted into 3 differently exposed jpegs. i did bracket some exposures for hdr so il try again with those later. this image was just one of the sharper ones so i wanted to see how it came out. http://www.flickr.com/photos/imaginethesky/

There's not too much of a discrepancy between the dark and highlight zones, you preserved detail on the terminator, no burnt areas... well done. Schrodinger's cat walked into a bar - and didn't.

Aug 01, 2010 06:30 | #5 thanks so much for the compliments. 200 shots in an hdr would be nice haha, and maybe an extra 200mm to take them with http://www.flickr.com/photos/imaginethesky/

Aug 01, 2010 12:13 | #7 hahaha. still, since this photo was taken at 300mm - i wouldnt mind a little more zoom so i don't need to crop for a good composition. i dont know if i could handle 1600mm though :P http://www.flickr.com/photos/imaginethesky/
