My first decent shot of a dragonfly, of unknown species. Dang these guys are skittish! We had just finished with a short downpour, and a bunch of these fellas were hanging out on our barbed wire fences. I'd try to sneak up on them very carefully, but most would take off before I could get anywhere close to getting a shot. This one actually sat still for some time. I still had a lot of fun just watching them, even if I didn't get a lot of shots. The image was taken in natural light with a reversed 18-55mm kit lens hand held to the body. I believe the lens was set at about 40mm. It was 800 ISO at f/4. Would have much rather worked with a f/8, but I didn't realize it until it was too late. Looks like I've got some sensor dust as well, LOL!
