Getting the 100-400 in 2 weeks for the trip to Africa....

I will offload the 70-200 F4 (hate to see it go) and be left with :

Tokina 12-24 F4, 24-105 L, 100-400 L and the 50 1.4......

famous last words... I can't even remember how many times those words have slipped though my lips only to have me lusting after some more glass months later. :P

Congrats on the purchase. Have fun in Africa. I hope to get there myself this winter

Been lusting for the 100-400 for over 3 years now..... Africa provided the right reason (or excuse I might say).....

Ii said to my brother the same words two months ago month. And I sold one zoom and two primes in July and got the 70-200 2.8 IS II.

I was going the 7D route and I changed track to buy the 100-400. This is it for 2010!!

You'll love the 100-400mm! It's a fantastic lens. :D

Attempting upload. Just got back from Kenya. If you have 2 bodies take them. I was so happy to have 2 bodies and 3 lenses, including 24-105 and 100 - 400.
You will love it.

i said i was done with my lens collection once before... after i got my 10-22, 24-70 2.8, and a 70-200 2.8, and a 50mm
