I had my markii and my 7D set up for these shots. The 7D had the 15mm fish eye and the 5D had the 24-105L. What do you guys think?

I've been having trouble focusing in night photography and I figure this would be similar. Everyone says focus on infinity and I feel like I have but they just don't seem to come out sharp.
