I had my markii and my 7D set up for these shots. The 7D had the 15mm fish eye and the 5D had the 24-105L. What do you guys think?

Awesome shots. I know how they are taken (like the process) but how do you focus. I've been having trouble focusing in night photography and I figure this would be similar. Everyone says focus on infinity and I feel like I have but they just don't seem to come out sharp. How did you do this with lightning?

I was using the mountain to focus on when the lightning would strike and the lights of the state prison in the distance.

These absolutely rock. What settings did you have your cameras on?


I just got my first pair of glasses that I didn't think I needed. I apologize to anybody in the past year that I said their pictures were out of focus lol.
