I'm having fun creating composite photos where I take a random person from a street shot and place it into an HDR background. In this image I photographed the man a couple of years ago on the streets of New Haven. The background was photographed as HDR a couple of years ago in Hartford Connecticut.

What do you think?

BTW...the man is NOT Keith Richards. :)

Very nice on the blend. My only suggestion would be to give the background a bit of blur before merging to give it a more natural look.

I didn't want the background blurred. I wanted massive depth of field.

Thanks for the comment Big K.

I think it would have looked silly with a blurred background. Looks great as is.

Tom, your work never disappoints. Love these composites and very very believable. I've been thinking of doing some of this myself and I don't know if I am now inspired or should just give up since there's no way I produce these results. Very well done!
