There was just to much mud flying into the first few rows of the stands that I wasn't able to get close enough to get any good action shots. That would have been awesome though. Need to take a telephoto lens with me next time. I shot these with the 50L.

The first one doesn't work as there's nothing happening; however the fact the driver is looking towards the chap giving the thumbs up in the second shot makes it a bit more interesting as you can imagine him planting the loud pedal a second later...

Luckily they were just doing the Parade Lap when I took these! Otherwise I to would question the judgement of the parents driving too! I tried several times to get good action shots but there was just to much mud flying towards the lower levels of the stands and against the railing for me to do so. So I was stuck with just the parade lap shots as my only keepers.
