1, 2, and 3 just don't work for me. In each there is something that I find intrusive. Particularly 3.

Honestly, #1 is the only one that works for me. I find it interesting and creative.
#2 doesn't work for me b/c he's OOF, and she's got a forced look on her face... doesn't seem natural to me.
#3 would be fine without the bar going straight through your main subject.
#4 is not a bad shot.
#5 is too washed out for me... It doesn't seem an obvious vintage edit, either, so therefor, it doesn't work.. throw some contrast into that sucka and you'll have a winner.

Again, these are just my opinions.... It doesn't mean that I'm right and your wrong... by a long shot. :)

I agree. The obstructions don't add anything to the photos.

Good job but yeah, the obstructions kinda take away from the pictures.
