Excuse me if this isn't the right section to post but I could use some help quick. I shoot 80% sports and was asked by an existing client to photograph some of the clothing line for them.

I am planning on using some continuous lights on a white seamless backdrop.

My biggest hurdle is that they do NOT want the images to be photographed flat but to have a body form inside having a model isn't an option either.

I have yet to find something that would work and since there are over a 100 pieces I would hate to have to do all the post processing.

Any suggestions or ideas? Where to purchase something like this?

Larry

You could lay out some heavy brown paper used in shipping to sort of mold it on a table and drape the clothing over it.

If you want to spend a few bucks for a better solution you can get a torso form http://shop.ebay.com …sid=m570&_nkw=Torso+Forms (external link)

Mannequin store or websites. Or check to see if a clothing store near by has some that you can rent.

Should be a simple matter of some background paper, lights and the mannequin on a stand.
I have seen these forms made from clear plexi which should be a bonus for this project.

I'd use speedlites or monolights, it make things much simpler.

If money is not a primary concern, hire a fashion or similar photographer with experience doing this as your "assistant" along with their studio etc. :-)

So why can't you hire a model? That seems like the best solution - the the mannequin which has already been suggested.

I think people Like to see people actually wearing the clothing when shopping online or in catalogs - I do!

Ignore the sensor dust (reason I originally posted the screenshot )

If you use a mannequin like this, you'll still need to fill up the sleeves on a product like this.
(Lots of toiletpaper works well: I think you can see a tip coming out of the sleeve on the left ;))
