Hi

I am thinking to buy 70-200mm f/2.8L is usm lenses BUT may not worth use my 500D ?

What you think ?

70-200L IS works nice with any camera. Whether your 500D is up to your demand is a separate question. If you don't have a lens in this FL range or you're looking for better optical and overall performance of an L-grade zoom, then you shouldn't be disappointed. :)

Better glass is always a good investment if you need that particular focal length. If your budget can handle it there isn't any reason NOT to pair the two up :)

Nothing wrong with using a nice lens on a entry level DSLR. It will benefit you just the same as any other camera!

When you buy a lens like that I don't think you'll upgrade any time soon. Its a one and done. You can always upgrade the body later.

Great lens. You might want to upgrade to a body later on though , but glass should come first.
