No problem with this image, the model had light hair.
This shot was taken inside my garage with the door up, natural lighting was used.
I had a model in there today, same position but she had almost black hair.
The resulting image was as if there wasn't any hair there.
I still want to shoot a wide aperture for shallow dof and also wish to retain a look like the above. Trouble is that when I would ordinarily use a strobe to light the hair it has no effect due to the shutter being so fast when using natural light.
I can put something lighter behind her but it looks like a background as opposed to the various different things in the background on the top image.
Has anyone got a solution to this?
