I think it is good to have very litle shadow but to keep the shadow quite dark and the midtones and highlights almost bleached out. so its almost like a sketch.

However, I assume jpeg compression has softened it. If it were mine assuming the original is okay, I'd be happy to leave as and just try a little facial brightening.
