Thanks for the input guys. I'm surprised however that most of you guys prefer using primes. I thought the versatility of zooms are much more useful for this type of shoots.

Full-frame? 16-35 is VERY wide. You might get some creative shots, but I'd think the 24-70L would be a much better match. I prefer even longer stuff. I've had good results using my 70-200, but my 85 works well too.
