I wasn't about to shoot a wedding with my kit lenses! I rented a 24-70 and a 10-22. Best decision!

oh there are plenty out there that do.

Not too shabby for a first time. A few exposure and editing issues. Some of your colors are over saturated and it makes the skin look a bit orange. But, you got some cute stuff, and I am sure B&G are happy.

I am super cool n' stuff.

Hey great job! And you got some great feedback in here, just very subtle changes that will make these shine!

Not bad for your first wedding! The ring shot is crystal clear. What sticks out to me as an area of improvement is posing. 2 3 5 and 8 are posed oddly. They look very uncomfortable in 8 and in 5 it is an awkward kiss. What do you find to be your biggest challenge in posing your couples? That would be a good place to start. Again, this was your first wedding and we have all been there, believe me, don't take this the wrong way. I wish I would've had more C&C when I first started. You know what you like as far as editing goes and I think your editing has a natural and appealing style.

Thanks everyone again for the comments. Shot 5 was not posed, it was the kiss during the ceremony. In 8, I wish that he didn't have his hand straight down. My biggest challenge in posing couples is my extreme lack of experience. I hope to get better as time goes on. I've just learned by seeing everyone else's photos and posts on this board.

ok so now for some photos I want some help on. Start with this one... When using the 10-22mm at the 10mm angle, are there ways to post process them so the people on the ends don't look oversized? Ignore the underexposure on this one. I guess this is just one of the downsides of a superwide? Maybe a superwide shouldn't be used at a wedding or with people in it and saved for overall venue shots? Should I have used the 24-70 around 30mm and just backed up?

The best thing would be to back up and zoom in more if you have the space. But sometimes that goes against what you are trying to do. When using the 10-22 on the wider end the main thing is to keep people away from the edges of the image. It looks the 1-2 people on each edge are distorted. If you backed up enough to leave 10-15% space on the edges, you could crop that area out and the people would mostly be alright. Having them in more of a straight line might also help.

On the wide end, the closer they are to the lens and the closer they are to the edges, the more distorted they will look.

Probably not the one of the left edge...unless that's how she looks in real life.;)

Have you played around with the liquify tool in Photoshop?

I love these! Good job! I almost lectured you for lens dust on #4 until I realized that my monitor is REALLY dirty! Haha! I love 6 and 8, very bendy bride!
