Would it be possible to change my title from its current state as, although I saw the funny side at the time, it is now starting to grate with me?

It is rather personal (or at least interpreted that way by most people).

Perhaps change your avatar from the "kilt check"? Maybe use a pic of a P&S camera so people will think it's your camera that is small?

The TF bestows titles upon users all in good fun. But if a member asks to have that title removed for good reason it is almost always done. But once this takes place that member will likely never be given a custom title again.
