They are from Zenfolio, and I don't have a Zenfolio account -- maybe they are only accessible if you have a login.

I am a fan of asian cultures and compete nationally in Judo. So hopefully that helps you in your ideas of helping me create a watermark

None of the above seem to say anything about asian culures to me... #1 says a bit county #2, a little blah and #3 a bit scrapbooky.... why not trying something with Japanese characters in it? As a brand or a name what are you going for and what is your target market???
Example: 柔道 (say's judo)

Branding/watermarking is tricky because you want it to represent you, and therefore be symbolic so when someone see's it they know without reading it that it's yours. Does that make sense? Hope it helps, good luck! ;o)

Well, yes I know ... but I also wanted to just get the type/look of watermark down before I worried about fonts. Now that I think I may have found the look/type I want I am on the hunt for my fonts.

Font is more like-able...but not a fan of the color mix.... I like that slash, but maybe just one? What about putting the Drew Briggs on top of the Photography, or just Drew Briggs and Copyright symbol in that font??? I'd also like to see through the font to some of the image...change your layer to like 40% or something.... Ah it is difficult. I finally found one I liked and then another photographer started doing the same one, so now I don't watermark my images, but I should!

I hope you don't mind I played with it a bit.... I think designing is one of my favorite things to do with photography.... cards and wall art images and so on.... hmm, not sure what you'll think just trying to help. My business name is in the top left corner, not my watermark as I mentioned I don't do one...but am beginning to feel like I should.;)

Not a fan of the black and red or just any color mix?

I like the slashes ... was just messing around with them. Have not seen anyone with slashes like that ... or even 2 slashes. I was thinking of doing on word on top of the other or something but then I couldnt have my slashes ... unless somehow I made a design that would look nice with them ...

@Bells:
I like that ... it is very simple I may work something in with a word wrap ... not sure I will mess around with it more tonight

Honestly, you're approaching this wrong. A watermark is either just a textual copyright, or it's branding. If it's more than plain textual copyright, then it is essentially a logo and all the effort and troubles that come with logos, is at play here.

You should design a logo on a neutral background as you're focusing on getting the brand right, which has nothing to do with how it looks superimposed over a photograph.

Anyways, I'd stop worrying about the photo part and treat it more like the logo mark that it is instead.

That said, I don't like any of the font choices so far, and certainly non of the color combos.

Keep trying though... or, in the end... do yourself a favor and hire a professional.
