OK so i can stitch 120 photos of a church together, in fact i have dne this 20 times in different locations, but about 120 shots but i am trying to do a foyer of our office and PTGUI is rubbish.

first off it says my sigma 8-16mm zoom is a circular fishey, so i enter the fact that it was set at 8mm and is a rectilinear lens.

secondly then it can only find control points on about 50% of the photos and the other 50 % i have added in. believe me there are loads of overlaps. there are loads of photos which clearly overlap but have no contol points identified.

I am really getting quite frustrated with this because i have spent hours and hours on this and whilst i am getting there slowly i still have to sort out loads more of overlapping images.

I know about exporting as blended layered PSB files but as the stitch is not good enough i can fix the errors.
the main problems can be seen in where the skirting boards dont match up properly, or the ceiling line jumps up and down.

surely there has got to be an easy way of fine tuning this or techniques people have used to get round this ... I am at wits end.

Thanks for you anticipated help in this
