basically they are supposed to rub some sorta special cream on both the b+g to make them glow during the wedding. however as time passed on the tradition became more for fun and the bride in this case used oil of olay they egged the crap out of the groom to make him glow and be all pretty. =)

What a beautiful video. I love being able to see other cultures traditions. What is the egg smashing thing about? I'm curious.

thank you so much louiise....

re the look of my films, long story short; i 'photoshop' every single shot of mine with the filters (actions) that ive developed over the years.

hope that answers your question.

I LOVE your work. You are so fantastically good at what you do. I don't even know how your videos look as colourful and sharp and vibrant than most photos that you see shot with a 5D! I keep telling my boyfriend that having someone like you shoot our wedding would be amazing ;)

I'm no expert and don't claim to be a professional in any are so take this with a grain of salt. I did look at this video and loved the colors and the clarity.
I didn't like that everything goes in and out of focus so quickly that my eyes didn't get a chance to figure out what I was looking at.

I love that you captured all the emotions and preparation up to the wedding. Usually we see just the day of or maybe the day before, but you got everything!

You magnificently captured the contrast between how the friends treat the bride and groom. The guy is getting pounded with food and the gal has stuff just nicely and harmlessly placed on her head.

The couple looks truly happy, and that is the best part of all wedding photography (and video!).

Some nitpicking...
You have some strange focus effects going on. They work in most areas, but a few scenes have too narrow DOF. I can see your reflection in the car window at 1 minute into the film. I personally don't think the music matches, especially with the Bollywood theme.

hello allnightquilter.

i love the honest critque, thank you for that. i will keep that in mind and try to pay further detail to pacing after focus pulls in the future. i must say that it is tough to pull focus on these tiny lcd screens; and becuz i do swap between zeiss and sometimes canon lenses, i @ times forget exactly which direction to pull focus as the rings work in opposite directions; hence unnessessary focus hunting many a times.
