thank you for the nitpicking.. i LOVE IT!!!!

i responded and acknowedge the focus hunting in my previous reply; i normaly would never have the shot with my reflection or the aperature changes but in this case i felt like those shots were important to the story, and also due to time limitations i just left them in. but i totally understand and appreciate where the critqiues come from.

thank you for that wizcreations.

I love that you captured all the emotions and preparation up to the wedding. Usually we see just the day of or maybe the day before, but you got everything!

You magnificently captured the contrast between how the friends treat the bride and groom. The guy is getting pounded with food and the gal has stuff just nicely and harmlessly placed on her head.

The couple looks truly happy, and that is the best part of all wedding photography (and video!).

Some nitpicking...
You have some strange focus effects going on. They work in most areas, but a few scenes have too narrow DOF. I can see your reflection in the car window at 1 minute into the film. I personally don't think the music matches, especially with the Bollywood theme.

AMAZING. No other words. Well done to the power of 10. I don't know these people but I felt like I did after watching this.

You're steady-cam work is out of this world too. Can you tell I like it?

You are seriously amazing. Almost makes me wish I was into video instead of just still photography... which is the first time I've ever almost wished that!

Yeah this guy makes photography look boring...

That's incredible...30 hours of video? What're you using to edit all of that? Crikey that would take forever to render and edit all of that.

I was talking to my boss the other day and I think she mentioned you. Do you know Kolby from Aria Studios? I work for her doing Cinema and Photo.

hello allnightquilter.

i love the honest critque, thank you for that. i will keep that in mind and try to pay further detail to pacing after focus pulls in the future. i must say that it is tough to pull focus on these tiny lcd screens; and becuz i do swap between zeiss and sometimes canon lenses, i @ times forget exactly which direction to pull focus as the rings work in opposite directions; hence unnessessary focus hunting many a times.

-myw

absolutely love the vid! If you can spare the cash, I'd totally recommend one of these (external link). I got the chance to compare it to the hoodman loupe, and its worlds above, and makes the screen feel twice the size in front of your eyes, should help with your focus pulls.
